About

Speedway Choppers lead builder and designer, Randy Reeves was born and raised in California. At the age of 15, he started building custom street rods. He street raced, and later drag raced at the Famosa Drag Strip in Bakersfield.

In 1998, Randy joined Schumacher Racing’s Top Fuel Drag Racing team, as a member of Tony Schumacher’s legendary team. With Randy’s help, the team won the 1999 National Hot Rod Assocation’s (NHRA) Top Fuel World Championship. They set a new speed record in February of that year of 330 mph! By the end of 2000, Schumacher Racing had 5 national event wins under its belt.

In 1999, the team moved to Indianapolis, and Randy moved with them. When not working on the fastest car in the world, Randy was building and riding motorcycles.

Randy and his wife, Jackie, decided to open a custom bike shop after leaving Schumacher Racing in August 2001. Since then, Randy has built some of the finest choppers the world has ever seen.

Wanting to make even better bikes, Randy joined Speedway Choppers in September 2004, which has many of its motorcycle components designed and engineered by Frank Weiss Racing Components, a leader in manufacturing racing components for the IRL, NASCAR, World of Outlaws, and Drag Racing.

Our goal is to bring a new level of quality precision, performance and style to the custom chopper industry. With the team we have on board, you can expect we’ll achieve it.
